That my friend has no simple answer. Anyway basically you have to be pretty advance in html and css to know what you are doing, otherwise you could screw it all up. But basically you need to do is look for something resembling this
<div class=”date”><BlogDateHeader><$BlogDateHeaderDate$></BlogDateHeader> @ <$BlogItemDateTime$></div>
</div></div><br>
<$BlogItemBody$><br>
<div class=”footer”></div><br>
</Blogger>
</div></div>
Erase it. And in that contained space paste in your own tumblr html starting from <div id=”posts”> to the very end. Good luck! Sorry it was so vague, but there isn’t really a set way to do it!
Every theme coding is different but you need to locate something similar to this…
{block:Photo}
<a href=”{ReblogURL}”><img src=”{PhotoURL-500}” width=”500”/></a>
{/block:Photo}
All you need to do is change ReblogURL to permalink, or if you don’t have a link already around your photo blocks, just add it like above.
You can do this two ways. If you want to add an image based titles (like a funky banner or what not) you can use <img src=”IMAGEURL” style=”left:0px; top:0px; position: fixed”> and change the 0px’s to a higher number to position it. Or, you can use a ‘div box’ like I do in my public themes alot, it’s the same principle as creating a second sidebar but you just add your title inside xo

without favicon means that your blog has already deleted “favicon” and exchanged it for a image link, try to find this: link rel
it works the same without the drop down menu. just edit it:)
after that click update preview then appearance then save then close:)
